Shipping & Delivery

 

By purchasing from TheRetroBaby.com, you agree to accept our shipping and delivery terms described below. The Retro Baby is interested in providing efficient shipping options through reputable carriers. We ship your purchases within two business days of payment verification. If we are unable to validate your card holder information your package will be delayed until we can verify card holder ownership. A customer service rep may email or call the customer to retrieve information to accelerate your approval for shipping.

General shipping information
Shipping and handling charges within the continental U.S. Your merchandise can be delivered using USPS Standard Priority Mail, UPS Ground, 3 day select, 2nd day air or Next Day. Standard shipping utilizes USPS Priority Mail service. Rates for UPS Ground service can range from $6.95 to $8.95, depending on your location and package weight. UPS Ground service can take up to eight (8) business days for delivery. UPS does not deliver to P.O. Box addresses but USPS Priority Mail does deliver to PO Boxes, please choose Standard Priority Ground if delivering to PO Box. Please list a physical address when ordering.

The Retrobaby or USPS is not responsible for standard flat rate ground shipments that are shown delivered and were lost or stolen due to an invalid shipping address. Make sure your shipping address is correct. USPS shipping methods (standard priority flat rate) do not offer tracking services.

Orders of $50.00 or more are eligible for FREE Standard Ground shipping. All merchandise is shipped from our warehouse in Florida. The Retro Baby utilizes USPS and UPS services for shipping your purchases. Packages leave our warehouse five (5) days a week, excluding weekends and holidays.

International shipments The Retro Baby ships globally utilizing Global Express and Global Priority. International shipments leave our warehouse every other weekday. Packages are insured up to a maximum of $100.00. Global Express offers the additional benefits of tracking capability and insurance. Global Priority does not include these additional services. The recipient of the international package is responsible for customs duties or other costs related to your package.

ACCURACY OF ADDRESS INFORMATION: It is very important that you double check the address information you provide us when ordering. Returns, because of incomplete or inaccurate addresses, incur a charge from our shipping service providers. We have to pass that charge on to you if you provided us with an incomplete or inaccurate address (non-deliverable packages). Please verify the accuracy and completeness of your address information prior to submitting an order.

 

Privacy & Security

 

Email/Newsletters - we do not take part in spamming or any other type of unsolicited email service. All email addresses are protected and never shared with third parties for resale or use. Only registered newsletter members will receive newsletters.

Customers Billing/Transaction Information - billing information such as credit card data, paypal account information and other important information is not gathered or stored in any part of our network. All transactions are processed with a 100% secure server with the highest level of data encryption provided by the #1 SSL provider in the world Verisign. We accept all major credit cards (Amex, Visa, Master Card and Discover) and Paypal as a form of online payment.

TheRetroBaby does retrieve information at the time of your purchase such as IP address, cookie information and the page you have referred from. We do not use any of this information for marketing or other web purposes. If requested or needed in the event of a fraudlent transaction or chargeback your information maybe used.

Your account information
TheRetroBaby does reserve the right to verify all billing information details such as address, CVV, zipcode and issuing bank of credit card. Account fraud is taken very seriously and will not be tolerated and reported to the authorities, all card holder information will be forwarded to the proper authorities and prosecuted. TheRetroBaby will respond to subpoenas, and court orders, either to prosecute due to fraudlent transactions or defend a claim.

All account holders information will transfer in the event that TheRetroBaby.com is sold or merged with another company. TheRetroBaby.com is owned and operated by a private corporation. This privacy policy is subject to change and in the event of a major change all account holders of TheRetroBaby.com will be notified.

 

Returns & Exchanges

 

By purchasing from TheRetroBaby.com, you agree to accept our return, exchange and chargeback terms described below.

We believe that customer satisfaction is very important and that is why we offer a full refund policy. Refunds don't apply to items that have been worn, washed,sale items or were sold more than 20 days ago. If your item is defective or you were shipped the incorrect color, size or style, you can request either a new item or a full refund.

If your package has been returned to us because of an invalid address or missing information(non-deliverable), it is your responsibility to follow up with TheRetroBaby, Inc. to make new shipping arrangements.
You will incur an additional $15.00 charge for any returned packages by our carrier because of an invalid shipping address. Additional shipping charges apply if returned packages are re-shipped. Please make certain that the shipping information you provide is complete.

Exchanges
Customers have 20 days from the date of receipt to return an item for an exchange. If an exchange is approved and received by TheRetroBaby, Inc., the exchange can take up to 15 days to process from the date of receipt. Shipping charges will apply to exchanged items. Gift Boxes and Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Unwanted items
If you should decide that you are unhappy with the item you have purchased, please contact TheRetroBaby, Inc. within 8 days of receipt to obtain instructions for returning the unwanted item. You must receive approval by email from TheRetroBaby, Inc. indicating that a return has been approved. You must then ship the item, in new condition and in its original packaging, back to our warehouse using UPS Ground Delivery. Shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility.
We strongly recommend that you use UPS or another carrier that provides tracking information. We are not responsible for goods that are lost in transit without tracking information.

Unwanted goods must be received within 8 days of talking with a customer support representative. Items received after this time period will be rejected and no refund or credit will be applied. Gift Boxes and shipping charges are non-refundable and will not be credited back to the returned order.

 

Ordering

 

Ordering on our site is simple, user-friendly and secure. Once you have placed items in your cart and proceed to check-out you will go to a one-page checkout that is simple and easy to use. You will be required to provide billing information and shipping information if different from the other. Once you have completed your order either through Paypal or Credit Card you will be emailed a receipt, confirmation of order and a welcome letter to our site. Shipping notifications will be emailed to you once your order has been approved and shipped. Included in the shipping notification will be a UPS tracking #.

 

Payment, Pricing & Promotions/Sales

 

We accept all forms of Major Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card, Amex and Discover) in multiple currencies. Your payment will be processed through a secure encryption connection. We also accept forms of payment through Paypal and Google Checkout services. All sale items are final sale and will not be accepted for refunds or exchanges. Items bought with a discount code will qualify for a store credit only. 

Viewing OrdersNeed to view your order?
You can login to your account to view past and current pending orders aswell as have the ability to view tracking details if shipped.

 

Updating Account Information

 

All customers have the ability to edit, add or delete entries within their account. For security reasons our customer service team does not have the ability to edit your password or retrieve your password. You can retrieve a new password by using the password forgotten tool locate on the my account or login page.
